Who I Am
My name is Dimitris Karagiannakidis and I am based in Münster, Germany. As a cellist I am a classical music performer and teacher.
Having grown up in Greece and studied mainly in Germany, I have developed a network of activities in both countries as well as in multiple others.

Performing

Either with one of my chamber music groups, an orchestra or as a solo artist, music making is what I always wanted and what I was trained to do. Specialised on classical music, I have studied all different styles and eras of this genre in great detail.
Cello (and theory) Lessons

I offer cello lessons to all levels, beginners to professionals. The lessons are combined with (or can be exclusively on) music theory as well. Whatever your musical needs and requirements, feel free to get in touch to schedule a personal meeting.
Organising

Every year since 2000 in the heart of Greece there is a classical music festival, where music blends harmonically together with the unbelievable beauty of the nature of Mount Pelion. It is called PelionFestival and since 2015 I have had the honour of being its co-artistic director.
